Very adolescent and was all over the place: hard to get to know the characters.
Poor writing
Review from Inside Madeleine →
This was a hard book to get through, the subject matter is tough. The writing was great the narration was great. The feelings this brought up was quite a rollercoaster. Saying this was a happily ever after just doesn’t feel right. Being happy for Wazy, Judy feels wrong.

the relationship wasn’t the uncomfortable part for me. it was the world 2 children were being brought up in that disturbed me the most, because i know it wasn’t just made up. there are children living in those conditions, trying to rise above but not always able. i could fully understand the love between Wavy..
