Was really starting to get drawn into the story line. But the direction the relationship between Kellen and Wavy was making me uncomfortable. My suspicions were confirmed in other reviews. Just thankful this was an included audible. Sex between a child and an adult shouldn’t be romanticized in any capacity. Yuck. Narrator is amazing.

Very YA with a lack of a complete character arc as if the series is the whole arc rather than each book having its own. Some good action and lots of tragedy to draw from just no follow through. Good narration.

Extremely cliche, Cinderella story but more depressing. Then there was the most random and extremely chauvinistic, inappropriate scene. No mentally healthy, self respecting woman should find that behavior charming.

The narrator’s voice was so strange sounding. She spoke slow and foreboding constantly. Even in playful parts. The story was confusing and I found myself drifting off to sleep during it. I couldn’t finish the book. I wasn’t connected to the guys at all and wasn’t even sure who liked who. It was so confusing…
