Started out good. Didn’t care for the heavy romantic stuff clouding judgement in critical times. Enjoyed the dog, though.
I know it’s cliche’ but it’s sweet when realization strikes and a person realizes fortune does not equal happiness!
Being in relationship with a star presents a lot of problems for a small town girl who is afraid of losing herself in that relationship.
I love the Nancy drew book series. This book is full of exiting twists that will keep anyone interested
A gripping story with great readers. You get to know & love each character. This is the story of refugees from Eastern Europe trying to flee from the Soviet Army during the winter of 1945. Walking on foot while dragging carts with their belongings, they share their stories—or keep their secrets.
Finally got the chance to hear this story again. It speaks to me in so many ways. This is my favorite book of all time. I cried in the last chapter haha
Persevere, it is good overall after you get past the hard life consequences due to poor life choices. And secrets kept.
I wasn’t sure how much I’d like a story like this. But I found myself absolutely sucked in. Great storyline. Captivating characters. Incredible narration. A+++
The performances in As Bright As Heaven where outstanding. The story heart wrenching yet uplifting in the end. One of my favorite books!!
