I love her books. I love the stories of the low country. She always puts me right in the middle of it with her descriptions.

I listened to the whole story and I was very concerned but overall the story was very good.

I’m 76 years old at this time & when I “grow up” I want to be just like them – sharp as tacks & full of joy!

Beautifully written and narrated. Characters that are so well developed you like you are watching a movie. The story is one of pain, love and a too real reality for some. Well written, but so sad. I couldn’t stop listening and enjoyed it thoroughly. I can’t believe the kidnapper did what he did. That part was heart breaking.
