I’ve read a number of these and I couldn’t put this one down. Although I had narrowed the suspects down, and I found the mortuary scene a bit surprising I was still surprised at the final conclusion and will need to chew on it a bit. A sure sign of a good story.

This is a great book The book is amazing and I would recommend thisIf you are into mystery’s. I loved the plot twists and the way she read it made it more interesting and suspenseful.Great book overall.

Excellent in every way! 👏 Love how the narrator uses the tone/voice of the character when reading their respective parts of the story. Beautiful interweaving of tragedy and triumph.

So good! It’s almost impossible to put down! It sat on my TBR way longer than it should! Don’t make the same mistake!

This book made my childhood and is what got me hooked on the Nancy drew books I am rereading this series and the books are even better than I remembered 😁😁😁

The story was good but the ending yanked it for me. Beware the cliffhanger. Perhaps don’t read unless you have #2 ready to go.

I loved how this story was written from different perspectives throughout and the narrator was AMAZING at keeping characters straight during chapters. Loved this book!

The title describes it well! Life isn’t pretty for some people, and families are not cookie cutter. I binge listened in a couple days. Happy to have stumbled upon this book.

I liked the overall story but I too felt these girls should have stayed away from Cash Creek and the predators there. “I said” from the narrator was distracting. I love her book about the girls that was kidnapped. I will continue to be a fan.

This book tore at my heart strings. The author and narrator made me feel like I was right there. It was easy to picture the scene. I will not recommend this book to my mother-in- law, because of the language and some sex scenes. I still wanted to hear every word. Thank you Bryan Greenwood.
