This story is heavy but you cannot put it down!! You will root for them in ways you didn’t imagine yourself doing.
Extremely well written. Sometimes difficult to hear but mirrors life for some caught in the grips of addiction and the darkness that envelops children caught in the crossfire.
I have read many history books and historical novels but this is the first one that spoke of the ships and the Baltic Sea. Hard to think about but necessary so that we never forget when it feels like… especially when your country is on the brink of war.
I couldn’t stop listening to this book. I finished listening in it two days!! Sweet and heartbreaking rolled up together.
Reads like a movie. Some twists I wasn’t expecting. You get a little bit of everything. Happy, sad, spicy, suspense, thriller, mystery, etc.
For me it was an interesting concept, poorly executed and the narrator made me want to stop listening, which she succeeded in doing.
What the actual fuxk??? An absolutely uncomfortable listen Why mention morning wood after sleeping next to a literal CHILD???? This book is mentally ill
