And the reading was excellent! Definitely in my favorites list.Thank you for offering it as a free read,. What a great surprise.
Parts were hard to follow. I needed a family tree to keep up with the characters. I prefer reading a physical copy of books because it makes it easier to look back to refresh my memory on things. It is too hard to do that with audiobooks. This is one that I wish I could..
This novel really challenged my tendency to be morally pretty black and white. But it did so in all the best ways! We’ll worth yhe read!
This was a lovely story with unsuspected twists and turns. I like when the book is unpredictable. Olivia is grumpy but take charge baker. Parts of her journey and background made me snot cry for a day or two. The narrator’s voice is very good and makes me want to find other books she’s lent..
What the ever loving f*** did I just read? I hated this a lot. Why is everyone in this book so obsessed with this child’s sex habits and body? I literally only finished this in hopes of an ending where this poor little girl gets some type of happy ending. Yeah I guess I can..
I like that she wanted her own identity and he respected that, even though he had the possibility to be a bully and make her submit to his whims .
A very good listen / read. I am a book lover, so I get tired of all the books with the same predictable and boring tropes. This was like nothing else I’ve read. Very refreshing.
