Review from False Alarm →
Dismaying that mainstream climate science seems to be responding to these sorts of challenges with polemic about Denialism or anodyne claims about the science being settled. Science is never settled, it advances by falsifying previously accepted theories.
this book should be required reading for politicians and high school students to counter the nonstop alarmism we hear on a daily basis.
100% worth the time to read. Very informative perspective and information. I highly recommend this book.
I am a huge fan of books like these that take each chapter to define popular myths with loads of research. I learned with this one that I don’t enjoy it when it comes to audiobooks. The narrator was okay, but there was nothing special or captivating in how he read the material. Overall, it’s..
Struggled to get beyond even chapter 12 but could do no more. Life’s too short. Basically a composition of after action reports. If you want to know who flew what and when, and his wingman’s name, plane models and ammunition used, you’ll love this book.
I tried reading this book on my own and got through 3 chapters in as many weeks… switched to the audio version and what a difference! you can really tell the narrator read and understood the subject matter extremely well before he reads it to you, and it makes a big difference in the level..
Amazing book. I would recommend to anyone actually willing to open their minds and trying to tackle the climate problem honestly.
