Doesn’t hit the mark as a human story. It feels more like a history report that doesn’t suit audio book. However, I think it was that historical approach that made it thorough enough to tell the NVA side of plans and strategy. I appreciated that part.

I read a book entitled, “Death in Big Bend” by Laurence Parent. That book was engaging, factual, and the individual stories of death in Big Bend were artfully interwoven to create a coherent book. Operation Eagle Claw is fascinating and tragic I try to read everything I can about these events, this recent book sheds a bit of insight however many times it repeats verbatim as interviews are recounted and I mean verbatim, no matter, if you enjoy the legendary mission you will enjoy this interesting read
