Enjoyed each chapter very much & recommend the DVD also for groups to watch. Our Bible Study group has watched many of Adam Hamilton’s studies & we read the books for greater understanding. His personal travel stories to the Holy Land & from pastoring a UMC church add excellent examples.
One of the best books I’ve read in several years. I am 67 years old and found this book to be profound and relevant in my life.
The book seemed to skip over three years between 1777 and 1780. I would about what happened during that period of time with Arnold.
Couldn’t put this down! Listened to the whole thing in just two sessions. Moved along extremely well… only a couple of spots that dragged a bit for me in the side stories but stay with them because they help flush out the whole story 🙂
One of the best books I’ve listened too. Loved the story. Loved the narrators. Loved Sybil’s character. Was sad when it ended. Could have listened to this for many more hours.
This is an excellent example of a great warriors tale of combat. Capt Corbins book makes you feel like you are sitting having g a beer with hi. a hero is telling you how it was in country. Highly recommend this book.
Pathetic mainstream media lied to their gullible and willfully ignorant audiences. Sad state of affairs.
A honest tell of the carnage inflicted on both sides at the battle of Okinawa. A surprising honesty and openess about PTSD from a member of a generation that did not speak of such things.
