Good read. Few Americans understand this enigmatic Patriot. I will always find him a puzzle.

Good plot, interesting characters, some confusing time sequences as the narrator moves back and forth in the plot.

Too slow but enjoyed the interaction among crew members and all that hog could do with its weapons

It is clumsily plotted with pedestrian prose highlighted by excessive nasty snark. He doesn’t like the upper classes, and he doesn’t like the lower classes. I’d like to try his second or third book.

The author does a fantastic job describing his experiences with the A-10 in the Gulf War. It opened my eyes on both subjects.
