A great book that rights many wrongs thrust upon 6 small American towns and their way through the turbulent post First World War years through the Second World War and the service of its men in National Guard Tank Battalions, Beautifully written and expertly researched/ edited, this book fills a key gap in the history..
Loved the book but I’ve got questions. The biggest one is “how does a heterosexual man living on earth for all that time not leave any offspring?” “If so Did they inherit the shimmer? Other than that the FBI Character was my favorite. It gives me joy to know that there are millions of people..
Too much detail! Too much superficial information. Too many characters to keep track of but as a Vietnam Veteran who operated in the same area I found it revealing!
As a Catholic priest, I guide a lot of people through emotional and spiritual healing. I have found Be Healed by Bob Schucts to be very helpful. I have read other books on deliverance and inner healing. Matt and Neal Lozano in their ministry guide for Unbound address insecurity, then how self-justification and pride flow..
This book is more about the first 100 days in Germany and around the world during the time period. it is not about what Hitler did so much.. hes like a 2nd characterin the book. I was hoping for a comprehensive list and thorough explanation of exactly what hitler was up to in this first..
Loved it… Having deployed with the hogs to Afghanistan in ‘04, I felt like I was write there with you every step of the way. Very well done brother. 👊
Highly manipulative “science fiction“ which is more in keeping with other agendas. That said, should not be surprising. Efforts to tell a story were made, but ultimately resulted in disappointment and predictability. Listened to the end, as this was a gift from a friend with similar motivations.
