Tons of detail, but not like a detailed novel that adds to the enjoyment. The entire book feels like a research paper. All facts. Well done, but not really an enjoyable or at all thrilling listen.

I really enjoyed the book and how it was put together. I’m a big fan of John’s editorial column so I’m not surprised at how good it was. All characters and their stories were sensibly complete by the end of the book. While some of it is very dark, I didn’t walk away feeling disturbed..

With very high granularity of articulation, Sowell describes vision that seems very credible as to what it is that many of our leaders may be thinking.It infuriates because he seems to be correct … our leaders may be taking us towards disaster.
