This book is a must read for anyone who loves history. The narration is excellent.

The poor logic used in thoughts of the afterlife is overly simplistic and empty. The characters are likewise extremely one dimensional and poorly developed. Finally stopped listening to it after 8 or so hours (4 hours and change left).

Great read. Too bad it didn’t result in prosecutions because the blatant corruption is sickening.
