I am so glad that I found this elegantly written book about life, art, and the nature of beauty.
Marvelous!

I had forgotten I purchased this audiobook and couldn’t even recall when I did. The universe probably had it all planned out for me to read this at some point and I’m glad I stumbled upon it in my library recently. The book is filled with blessings and ways to receive it. Thank you, thank..
I liked this book more than the first. I tend not to like characters who are too nice or too forgiving of their ex when the ex is being even more of a selfish jerk, but it didn’t bother me enough to stop listening. The mystery was good and the ending unexpected. I enjoyed this..
I sometimes struggle with books that are this short. You need to allow for some really large leaps to get everything done in such a short time. Once you accept the leaps, this is a nice, clean cozy.
Story was interesting enough. Narrator is AWFUL for grown up books. She has no natural timing for the narration or the dialogue so every line sounds overly articulated. Emotions were often overdone… I need to start a list of #NeverAgain narrators. This one would definitely be on the list.
Lesley is a small town sleuth who enjoys solving cases with her best friend Tiffany. Detective Adam wants her to be safe and to stop snooping. That doesn’t happen. Karen Commons brings a southern twang to the characters.
This is a fun cozy with great characters. I love this series and I can’t wait to see where it goes next.
Very interesting to hear her life story and how the Lincoln County War molded her later years. Great for anyone interested in anything regarding that time. Only knock is the voice the narrator made when pretending to be Susan.
