I enjoyed the tone and pace of this book. Doris Steven’s personal point of view as well as those of her fellow suffragists was much more interesting then similar books.

Alex is your typical news reporter, wanting the big scoop. When her boss pulls her, she goes after on her own. Soon she is in over her head and nobody to help her. Starts slow building, a good story and how is she going to get out, a reporter doesn’t till the next big story..

I am a huge Mary Lincoln fan. I feel she was born way ahead of her time. I also have no doubt that she helped make A. Lincoln the great man he became. This is a very well written book and was one of the first published about this fascinating lady. Sadly there have been..
Oh my every Cinderella needs both a prince charming and her glass slippers. This book was so cute. The romances was brilliant and it was full of snarky, impatient sisters, an extra busy schedule and even a villian. This is a clean romantic story that is appropriate for all ages. I highly recommend this book..

I really enjoyed this book. The narrator did well with different character voices. I really enjoyed this HEA that tied in fairytales and hints of Cinderella. It was clean and no profanity. It was predictable but entertaining. I liked the relationship between the two main characters. Great banter and humor.
