Love this book, another wonderful book by Grace Livingston hill! She is by far my favorite author of all times. I listen to her books and even on the second or third time. I love! Great narration!

As a physician, I found it very easy to diagnose. Margaret Mitchell has a borderline personality disorder.

I don’t know why but this narration really didn’t do it for me. I’m new to the audiobook world so I’d like to chalk it up to that.

I totally enjoyed listening to this book. The story untwined some actual events with the fictional family story.

…that Margaret Mitchell was such a pain! And now I know it in such excruciating detail!! I did learn a whole lot though. The narration was horrifying for a Southerner to listen to, especially when Margaret’s voice was mimicked. I really wanted to love this whole thing but was unable.

A good mystery murder story with wonderful characters and a very slow burn clean romance budding between Leslie and the detective Adam. The narrator is a really good job with telling the story and bringing each character to life.

I liked this story. I thought that the main character was little to nice. I would have told my ex off and his girlfriend as well as the ex mother in law. But in the end it ended well and the only other thing I wished for was the detective have a little romantic evolvement..

I love Lesley and Sophia and their quirky murder sleuthing. This town of zany characters and their love of dogs like children is with listening to by Karen Commins. I enjoy these audiobooks.

I’ve read this book so many times that I know passages by heart, but this is the first time I’ve listened to it on audiobook. Karen Commins did an outstanding job! It felt like she was experiencing the story as she told it. This is one of Grace Livingston Hill’s most rollicking Roaring Twenties adventures..
