I’ve enjoyed the previous books in this series well enough because they focused on trying to survive the collapse, but this one is where the government comes for all the guns, so it’s pretty nutty and was just hard to get through. I didn’t enjoy a single bit of this story, so I wouldn’t recommend..

An ok end of the world story, but there is a lot in it that makes you shake your head. In fact I had to skip ahead many times because it was too much to take.
The narrator’s voice is excellent. I’m actually going to look for more work he’s done because I just like his voice. The story was okay, but things escalated to violence way too quickly. The main character’s willingness to murder folks (who arguably deserved it) without being phased by it came across a bit sociopathic. It..
This is exciting, fast moving, plausible and utterly enthralling. If you have not read a post-apocalyptic novel, this is the one to start with. Superbly written, the narration is wonderful, The story captures your interest, and you follow each character. I have every one in this series because I enjoyed this one so much.

I think that the two narrators did a good job. I generally enjoy reading Post Apocalyptic Fiction books and while this wasn’t the most s exciting, action packed PA series; it still has a good amount of action and I guess you could say, anxiety I don’t know that the very last battle was necessary..
