There’s so many flavorful layers to this roller coaster ride of emotion. There’s the warm meaty goodness of a family reunion, the silky cheesiness of a young lovestory, the tangy and bitterness of several unlikeable antiheroes, and the humorous tortilla that Mr. Horton wraps it all up in. Jack Olsen is good at giving the reader the right amount of detail without overdoing it. I had no trouble keeping up with all the names. As horrifying as the cover made it sound, it wasn’t too horrific to hear. I found it fascinating. Kevin Pierce is the perfect choice to narrate the varied characters!
