The story itself was horrific, but wonderfully told and narrated. I can’t wait to listen to more from Gregg Olsen.
It’s was a little flat at the beginning but ended with a bang. I enjoyed the book and I will be purchasing the next one soon.
First- this book is brutally graphic. It is about an evil serial killer of children and women. If that is not something you want to listen to, it is not for you. This book is well researched and told. It does deep dives into each persons history. The narrator is EXCELLENT. The last few hours is..
The story line is great for people of a prepared mindset. I like how all these books tie together in little ways, and Kevin Pierce is great like always.
Upon finishing the three parts to this, it kinda makes you wonder how much of this goes on already or how close we were to this becoming our reality.
It was just ok. They gave unneeded and boring details on other crimes that were too loosely related. I felt like I wanted to hear a lot of it on fast forward. The reading of it was positive.
A particularly s l o w and juvenile book. Perhaps better directed to pre-teens or those JUST getting into the genre. Two steps back for Akers and her effort(s) to advance Danny Brown. This is the first of Akers books that I had to return.
