Kevin Pierce does fine narrating this book. He does a lot of true crime narration and sounds pretty much the same as usual in this audiobook. The book, itself, is full of lurid details about the many, many homosexual relationships of the murderer, Eli Stutzman. I think the circumstantial evidence against Stutzman is clear enough..

I have a hard time with characters that consistently do dumb things. It doesn’t make the book more exciting, it makes it frustrating that people are so stupid. That’s what most of this book did to me. Along with stupid people making huge mistakes, the pagan storyline and all the “deep thoughts” from the characters..
