I enjoyed the book, but just wished the narration had been better. I could have gotten into the book more if so. Sounds like my grandpa was reading a book to me as a kid. No emotions, and all the voices of different characters sounded alike. Worst ever German accent that came and went in..
The last 2 books end up being extremely repetitive . Loaded with eye rolls and the characters seam to never actually learn from their mistakes. Just bad one bad decision after another while being surprised everything is going wrong.

Story dragged into nonsense, obviously Matt Best’s ego was boosted as if he needed it. Only thing I though was even remotely realistic was the girl dying from Gangrene. Everything else was just nonsense, society would implode under these circumstances but it will come apart way more quickly and more violently.
