This zombie apocalypse book was great! It lead me through the beginnings, very realistic, and then through to the changes and zombie stages. It left me questioning how and gave enough reality to think it through with what we gave going on now. I like the combination of humans snd animals through out the book..
Being a Christian family man who hobbies prepping, this book was written for me. The narrator was on point and very pleasant. Going to look for some more works by this author and narrator now. God bless
It is possible to tell a SHTF story without the political commentary. I understand the need to build the story etc. However, this was a bit overboard.

Loved it! Kept me on the edge of my seat! I couldn’t put my phone down(what I listen to it on. ) very graphic, but real. I had to remind myself that it is fictional. Mark Goodwin did an excellent narrative job!

I enjoy survivalist & post-apocalyptic stories where a compelling hero or heroine has to survive some society-collapsing event. It can be zombies, EMP, nuclear detonation, or alien invasion. This story started out with the potential to guide us through such an event, but instead it turned out to be a shallow representation of conspiracy theorists..

Overall, I enjoyed this book. Of course, I could listen to Kevin Pierce read the phone book. He’s the best truce crime reader. As for the story, were Champagne’s escapades in Mexico and Florida, as well as his initial rescue when he went overboard, fact checked? I just find them a bit far fetched. First..
Great book, one day we as a country mite have this happening to our country.
Jumped around a bit to much. Covered some areas better than others. I liked the characters and the plot. Overall it was a good series I was entertained. I would recommend listening to it or reading. 👍🏻
