You can’t really say you enjoy this read unless you’re a freak. However, it’s a horrific story which makes for enthralling reading thanks to the author’s great research and retelling of events. I live in Susan’s town and Gregg Olsen gets everything right. Highly recommend.

It’s what you want and expect it to be. Is it semi prepper porn? yes. Is it right wing? kinda. Is it realistic? yes. Thats why I loved it.

I found the book easy to follow and enjoyable, the characters very believable as to their parts in the story line. Great first book as to what I am hoping is a great series and adventure.

I enjoyed the storue but too much gratuitous violence or just used as story filler. More story, less heads exploding.

i have been very disappointed in the length of most of the books in this series. I am already invested in the story so will probably continue, but I would not recommend it due to the value.
