The narrator had a great voice and tone. The story was one I hadn’t heard before. Great ending to a whacko serving a life sentence!

It could have been great- too much repeating and then never solved!! Very disappointing.

I am so pleased with this series. What a surprise-I am new to this kind of read and I’ve been consuming a lot of hours with audible.This is a breath of fresh air in their approach to post apocalyptic stories.

Kevin Pierce could read me the alphabet 😋 and I’d love it. Actually would love to have him read the Bible for purchase. As for the story, this was written in 2013. I checked because it’s so prescient! The American Exit Strategy plan is very smart! Well written!!!

The beginning of another awesome series by LL Akers. The collaboration with Danny Brown is a perfect balance and Kevin Pierce makes it come alive. Anyone that loves animals will fall in love with this book. Anxiously awaiting the second installment in this series!

this would be far better if read by appropriate and relatable narrator!! this is a urban hood story and it’s read by a white man who should be reading bedtime stories to children. this white man is saying the N WORD AND saying BLACKS and so on… Terrible

Story slogs along painfully with an abundance of insignificant details, one dimensional characters and unremarkable plot.Don’t waste your time

so far every Franklin Horton book I have checked out is well written with story lines that grab me, I can’t stop listening. as far as Kevin Pierce narrating, its hard to hear other authors because he does such a great job and his voice is great!

It was a different take on the end of the world. It kept me entertained but I was not that invested in finding out what happens to these characters to listen to the next book. Love the readers voice!!
