Starting book 2 immediately. This is a great story and Kevin Pierce brings it to life.
I really enjoyed this
Review from Shadows of a Lost Age →
A simplified way to creating strategic direction in your business and navigating smoothly through day to day operations.
Had high expectations, fail. Stop with the chapter long details about the workings and sounds of a door opening. Stop with all the background that will likely, (because) I stopped listening not matter in the end anyway. Disappointing!
I followed this story at the time in the news but had no idea how demented Josh and his family were. His dad Steve was truly the most horrific person in the family who caused his ex-wife and children to suffer unimaginable perverted horror. This story gives all the facts and is like a train..
This book was nothing like it’s predecessor or the first book in the series . However you wish to term it. The story was nothing short of containing nothing of substance . Long winded and banal . The narrator , whom I experienced on another book which I had to return , is awful. Note..
This book while a bit different was just as great as the rest. I really enjoyed it. It will get you thinking about the people in charge of our great nation. It also still leaves me wanting the next book. Keep up the wonderful stories!!
As with all Goodwin and Pierce books, I have come to expect a well written and well narrated story. The author fills in a lot of details, say 90 percent of the details with made up conversations, thoughts, conjectures that are as fictitious as anything in a Star Wars or Harry Potter novel. It makes..
The start of the story was good. As the story progressed, several story threads that had potential were abandoned. The potential bioweapons and the emp attacks aren’t really pursued. Later the story just becomes odd, for example a child just losing their parents calling a new set of adults mom and dad almost immediately. As..
