Great writing. The plot was engaging, tense a lot of the time, and most importantly – quite believable. We were spared the seemingly ubiquitous zombies and paranormal super powers. Further, the narration was first class. A gripping book that kept me looking around the house for more projects that I could do while listening.

I loved The Traveler series and this one is just as intriguing. And Pierce is perfect, again! Not going to lie I search out books that are narrated by him, so Tom Abrahams keep him employed for your awesome books!

Ray porter is the reason I tried these books. Now with the new narrator the voices are all different, the feel is different… I’m trying to finish it because I’m invested but 3 more books after this… I don’t know if I can finish them.
This is a very sad story of a family who’s evil wrecked another family and so many more. Very good facts, read if you like true crime.

The narration and storyline keep you focused and interested in what God will do for the characters as they focus on doing his will during the tribulation. Definitely ready for the next book.
