The detailed account of the romance and of the characters that took up the lion’s share of the book succeeded in making me despise Cindy but her behavior was so extreme given today’s knowledge of mental illness it was hard to accept she never got any treatment.
The story flows well and has just enough humor to balance out the darkness. I will be waiting for the next installment of this series.

I loved the characters in this series. Their struggles and interaction with each other just seemed so real and believable. The story was very interesting and horrifying at the same time. I learned so much about nuclear war and pray that this never actually happens! Keep writing these great stories!
