I tried and tried to give it a chance but failed on every level. Everything from the story to the character development.
Kevin Pierce is a joy to listen to. His clear story telling is mesmerizing. I will be enjoying more of his books.

I have casually followed the Black Dahlia case for several years. This book had much information that I had not yet heard. I recommend this to anyone interested in learning more.
So realistic & plausible… love the characters and their metamorphosis throughout the books. I can’t wait to see what Bob McDermott has in store for me in the Tom Dugan series.
First it should have been just three books and not five, finally to slog through it all to get to such a dud of an ending.
