This was a pleasant surprise in the over all genre’ of EMP survival stories! looking forward to the next book. Of course it doesn’t hurt to hear Kevin’s narration. He could make a telephone book interesting. It is getting so any book without Kevin’s voice is just slightly disappointing.

Loved all the characters and the story was spot on, great narration and blessings to you all!
This book provides a realistic outlook on what to expect from society after a nuclear attack. It even provides good advice on what to scavenge and what to avoid.
All of the characters you have to keep track of as it jumps around constantly is exhausting. Also by having that many characters none of them seem to stand out. They just wash each other out. Not for me. I wasn’t able to build a bond or liking to the characters.

I have been a fan of this series and learning that there was a metanarrative within the scope of the books was the icing on the cake. Here, in the conclusion of the series, Abrahams ends the series with the classic zombie apocalypse (faux-zombie) but concludes the story and answers the questions set up throughout..
I loved these 4 books. I laughed and I cried with the characters in these books. I just knew there had to be authors out in this world that could write excellent books without using God’s name in vain. I’m so excited to read more of your work.Thank you from the bottom of my heart..

I loved everything about this book! The plot based around the end with a strong message of faith and Patriots who act upon their convictions as they struggle in a new wold after an EMP!Fantastic!
Really enjoyed the story line and was a little upset when one group was left to tell the story of another group because I was so vested in the characters. I also enjoyed all the details about the AT and North Carolina sense I’ve spent time in/around both.
