Pretty well written book with a very possible solar event taking down society as we know it. I think it has a good forecast on human interaction when a self-centered modern society such as the world is now, suddenly has technology and rule of law vanish. It is well.narrated also.

I am enjoying the pace and excitement of these books. Not a fan of the portrayal of women. I am reading as though this is written by some old man with a good imagination and a lot of baggage.

Franklin Horton wrote an amazing book and Kevin Pierce knocked it out of the park with the best narration I’ve ever heard. Listen to Burning Down Boise then this one for hours and hours of fantastic entertainment! So good!
I have loved every book that you have written, but this series and this final book has been the best. Thank you for such a vivid description of how things could play out as we are making the turn into the last days here on the earth as we know it.
I love scripture at the beginning of each chapter but this was basically a very detailed long drawn out recap of getting from one location to another. I was so bored that I skipped ahead hoping to find some suspense but I could not even finish the book. Maybe I needed the prequals before reading..
