I loved how this from the first of the story held my attention! Lots of action and definitely worth the credit!

Great story with a more relaxed pace and more thorough character development than some other books in the genre.

I absolutely loved the Locker 9 series so I have been catching up on Horton’s work. This is a similar “short story” that parallels the other series. I enjoy his writing style that mixes excitement and wit with otherwise difficult post apocalypse situations. Just wish these Mad Mick stories were released in a bundle.

I have enjoyed all the Mad Mick books. Barb and Ragus, Shannon and Doc Marty and their inner actions. Sorry to see the death of Doc Marty. I am eager for the next Mad Mick book.

The author that wrote this is disconnected from what he thinks young people say. I cringe every time I hear “peeps”, this is not what a gangster would say. I’m also convinced that the authors are virgins. Did they talk about sex they say “roll over and let me new guy stuff to you”. Only..
