I liked the story even though it skipped decades at a time. I feel like the entire series could have been compiled into one book of reasonable length rather than multiple 7 hour books.

Full disclosure.. I always get bored with courtroom scenes. I was really interested in the story until the long drawn out court scenes…then I sort of drifted off. It is a very well written true crime story, but it went on a little too long for me. Nevertheless, I will check out other Jack Olsen..
This book was boring and slow. It ends with no real resolution and seems mostly like a setup to buy the next book. Jonas’ father must be spinning in his grave at how lousy a leader he turned out to be. I am passing on any further books in this series.
