If you want a book that is 3° off reality, this is it! it’s so close to what did happen and what still could it’s chilling, Boyd made this book and series so real it kicks my paranoia and fight or flight every time I listen to it. it’s well written and funny at times…
Boyd Craven is a good writer. The premise of this book, although it’s been generally done before, has enough unique characteristics to make it interesting and leaves the reader wanting to know more. In this case it’s 3 couples of childless “professionals” who create a business plan of sorts to buy a big out farm..
Insightful, enriching, not alarmist, reasonable, and helpful. Not just for “the end of the world”; but any type of natural disaster, severe weather event, or catastrophe. If the power goes out for an extended time, you will be happy you implemented even a few of these strategies.
The Black Autumn book series is just amazing! I fell like I know all the characters in and out of the books from taking part of all the podcasts and content in the real world. it makes this series even that much better. there’s so much information layed out in a great story form in..

Really enjoyed it both the story and the narration. it brought the sad effects evil has on those fighting it and those who have been victims of I, to life in a very real way.
well. I have always wondered if I would be able to survive something like this, I appear to have a very similar thought process to our author, Mr McDermott spins a wonderful tale and gives us great characters that we can worry about and grieve over. Read these, you won’t regret it.
It is very probable that we’re going to destroy this country to where we will have to do a real reset. It is interesting that today in 2021 the progressive liberals are talking about a great reset. This series Is very much like a prophecy. Good work!
