kind of slow in the beginning, but got better. the narrator was top notch. his gravelly voice made the story better
First off, if it wasn’t for the narrator I would have quit this book after the first hour. The story was slow and quite boring with details that don’t make sense or are inconsistent. Would not recommend, unfortunately.
This was a very good introduction book. This author took the time to point out what so many of us know and spoke about it in a way as to not be alarmist, but to point out how unprepared a lot of people are for what happens when polite society loses its conveniences. The accuracy..

The only complaint I have is that the books are so short and instead of buying one book for one price you have to buy at least three and that gets expensive.
This was a shocking true story that kept me interested until the very last word. My only complaint is that there were so many people and names involved, that at times, I found it confusing. I would still recommend it though.
Kevin could read a phone book and make it interesting. With that said. The book and set up for the EMP survival series is very good. I intend on reading the rest of the series.
I love the characters of this series. Connor is one colorful character. Loved the book. Hope that it’s not the last one.
Franklin Horton weaves a gritty realism into the apoc genre. Looking forward to the next one in the Borrowed world series. I would definitely recommend.
