I never read this genre. What a surprise. Loved it was very thought provoking and I totally enjoyed it. Am now going to read another McDermotts trilogy series

I’m not sure if I get how you did time-line in this book. Seems kinda weird that a wife and child get over the death of dad after a couple of days. Also, it’s weird how the world resulted in cannibalism within a month
I try to not allow a book to change the way I look at the world but this one made me think twice.
Couldn’t put it down.
