It took forever to get to the story. Almost gave up listening. The reader was great but probably kept me listening.
Careful! You may start seeing the need for preparation yourself! 🙂 I think a lot of “end of the world as we know it” stories are too far fetched to be believed as “possible”…. this book is not one of those! Do yourself a favor, read this book(s) and pack a bug out bag!
This is my first Steve Jackson experience — hooked! And Kevin Pierce as narrator is fantastic. This combination of writer and storyteller is perfect. As for the rendering of Tom Luther and the cast of victims, witnesses and other characters surrounding this case, I ran through the gamut of emotions from horror, shock, sadness, rage,..
I have always enjoyed Mark Goodwin’s books. Especially likes how he always incorporates Biblical truths .
Each book in the Mad Mick series gets better and better. That’s saying something since they’ve all been 5star books. I look forward to hearing the next in the series and what Barb, Mad Mick and friends will be up to next.
I worked in a maximum society prison for half my adult life, the true stories of these monsters and the study of their character flaws is fascinating. this book is written with great detail, but really is so well wrote that you have to stop and tell yourself this. monster is real
Another great book by Franklin Horton. I love Mad Mick & Barb and the rest of the characters. I can’t wait for the next book. I would recommend all of Franklin’s books.
This was a good true crime listen….Greg Olsen and M. William Phelps make a good team, and they do a darn good job telling us the stories.. Kevin Pierce is a master story teller. I received this audiobook for free from FABC, and this is my voluntary review.
