I listened to this book after “Behind The Curve”. Performance was spot on as before. I wasn’t as enraptured with this book as I was the other series. I would still recommend it though…

I really enjoyed this novel by Franklin Horton and the narrator, Kevin Pierce was as excellent as he always is when he reads these books. He makes the story come alive and I always feel part of it. Well done and I look forward to moving on to book 2 in The Borrowed World.
Well all three books have a great storyline. Interesting characters and trials and tribulations. I was really getting into it when the 15 year old warrior girl used “duh” and later an adult warrior expressed he was weirded out. There were a few other instances of modern slang being used in a time period so..
I cannot begin to give a worthy review, this book is amazing!I am in awe of Ryan Schow’s ability to write of the end of the world and make the reader/listener laugh and cry along with an entire range of other emotions. Kevin Pierce does a superb job of narration as usual.
Master storyteller in a Biblical sense with great plot I’ll listen to this again and follows the Bible seamlessly
The first 3 books in this series were great. But then the author got very childish and turned this into an AI por n fantasy and he lost me. It’s not very believable or even interesting trying to make us readers believe that an almost 30 yo male would be so taken by the supposed..

I loved it , as I love all of Jack Olsen books.Narration by Kevin Pierce as always superb,. Since I found Mr. Pierce I will not listen to any one else.
No much to be said about this one that hasn’t already been said regarding how great this one is for the genre. My only criticism is the pronunciation of places. Pulaski is Pul-ask-i, Delhi is Del-hi, and Lowville is Lau-vl. (Source – Someone who lives and travels through these counties) Also, had he seen action..

oh my gosh this series is so good. despite being unemployed I spent the few dollars left to have a distraction and it was worth every cent. distracted me and entertaining. I hope there is more to come. spend your last few dollars in this. It’s worth it.
