My daughter told me about this book and how much she enjoyed it. She isn’t a sports fan, but, like me, was fascinated by the history of the Tommy John surgery. The topics in this story can apply to many elite athletes in other sports. What is too much practice and preparation. Loved the book.

This book is filled with heart, emotion, and honesty. The civil unrest, social turmoil, rampant crime,, is as true today as Sarge experienced it 50 years ago. Worth every minute.

An all too familiar story about the effects of pandemic on the world . this book could be a harrowing look to our future. No zombies, just normal people and a deadly disease.
