After the entire series this was a disappointment. probably wasn’t necessary but I guess you can’t stop until the end.

Nothing like Mark Goodwin books. So much fowl language I didn’t make very far in the first book. Can’t return it because I bought the series instead of using a credit. The “preview” didn’t make it past the preface so it was impossible to judge the book.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story, but grew weary of hearing about Beck’s “demons”, and the idea that so much ammunition would be available so long after an apocalypse is crazy.

At some point in the future I’d love to see a story about the long lived quarrel between the Irish and the English. The MM vs evil Englishman type deal. Just sayin 🙂

My only complaint is that Mattie got annoying in book 7. Like, really, really annoying.
