details of events kept me intrigued through out every chapter. although sad this book gives insight to the evil our world holds

Mark Goodwin is such a wonderful author. The story he tells is Biblical and yet very relatable. Every Christian should listen. The narrator has the warmest voice and you feel like it’s your grandpa telling you a story.

The perfect start to an amazing series. Gripping from the start, setting up a climax and more to come!

First emp survival book that has used so many less talked about prepping ideas. like gasifier. Dakota fire holes. rocket stoves and permaculture farming. I really enjoyed this series. I’ve listened to many post apocalyptic book series. I have many favorites this is one of them.

This was an eye opening listen and a well written series. When the action turned to Beaumont, TX, it became too real! I lived for 60 years in Bridge City and ALL of the descriptions are spot on. I really enjoyed this series. Thank you for your talent in writing it.

I liked the concept of following a group of people, who aren’t preppers, through a cataclysmic disaster. The author does a good job of telling the story, though he often puts in too many details that sidetracks the story.
