I can’t praise this book enough. The writing was spectacular and the performance was amazing. If you’re looking for a grab and go true crime story this isn’t the book for you. Get ready to become deeply involved with this family and journey with them. Great book.

I loved it!! The Christian foundation of the story line was perfect, and very in line with non denominational viewpoints.

Can’t believe how many times I said wow and at times cringed. Excellent Narration by Mr. Pierce as usual really got down to nitty gritty and makes one turn to look at the effectiveness of their preparations. And reveals how the reader/listener would react to the extreme circumstances a collapse would present.

It is a nice read. But I feel like this is not the authors best work. Seems like it was rushed while writing it.

The female narrator’s voice didn’t inject any feeling into Susan’s words. I found it very distracting from the flow of the narrative, and jarring.
