The narrator, character development, and information are all good. While I am enjoying listening I cringe everytime the author has Grant whine about how Democrats are authoritarian. Honestly, it is absurd to think that both parties do not engage in the same tactics to stay in power like gerrymandering. Gee Whiz another alt right person..

The book does a poor job of capturing the story. It certainly lists a lot of facts…but it doesn’t seem to have an intent beyond compiling newspaper clippings. I listened to 75 percent and had to stop. First time I’ve ever stopped a book.

I loved this book, and for the most part the narration was good. I didn’t care for the the narrator’s voice for female characters and it was, unfortunately, the same for them all. However, the voice overall quality, inflection, emotion, etc was well done.
