Really really enjoyed this series. The whole book was incredibly plausible and very entertaining. I have read/listened to a lot of post apocalyptic thrillers, and this series is right up there with the best of them.

Franklin Horton is by far my most favorite apocalypse writer! How he intertwines his stories to create a realism is beyond me. Serious talent and I hope someone important reads these and creates a television series from these stories. The reader is also pivotal in making the entire series that much better. Keep em coming..
I did not dislike a single aspect of this series. I did like the appearance of old friends from other books by Horton.
Never dull. Hard to put down. Loved the characters and a great story that involves a lot of people that you become very attached to. Sad that story is over.Great narrator as always !
The information given in this story led me to prepare and learn. Also, the performance of the narrator is amazing!
Loved every moment of this! Takes me to a place of adventure and hope, sorrow and loss.
Everyone should read or listen to this book, it’s an incredible look at the fact we are all more than our physical bodies.
great realistic book on what happens if the lights go out. great characters and action descriptions as the fight for freedom raged.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series. This one not so much. The plot felt very forced with little action until the end. Barb’s character, in particular, really grated on my nerves so badly I almost did not finish it.
