The first two hours will take your breath away. Then it begins to slow down and for the next couple of hours it will drag and become tedious. Then it picks up speed again to an awesome ending I truly love this book and would recommend it highly.

These guys are great. But even better is it being read by Kevin Pierce. He could read a NYC phone book and not only keep it interesting and exciting but leave you wanting more.

I loved it. I loved the characters and the story. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series. The narration was excellent also.

A little repetitive in some areas, but a fascinating story about human behaviors, strengths and weaknesses. I especially appreciated the insights into how well we can deceive ourselves, even when we know better. That alone is a wise and timely insight for these times

I got about 3 1/2-4 chapters in and had to stop listening to this and returned it. WAY to graphic for me. I was disappointed because I absolutely LOVED the narrators voice, but absolutely couldn’t hack it on how graphically everything was described. Enjoyed it so much that I believe that I have listened to it four times so far!

I’m clapping because it took bravery for June to get through her awful life and get to a wonderful life. I can only imagine how many women have gone through or even still going through the pain from abuse.

I love this trilogy and it captivated me all the way through. The narrator was outstanding. I found myself thinking about my own situation if I were placed in this story as it’s very easy to do. I enjoyed hearing about some basic survival techniques and it made me realize that there’s a lot more..

This series is a refreshing take on the world after an EMP. The stories are believable and the characters seem real. Kevin Pierce did an excellent job on each book!
