As always, Kevin Pierce is an amazing reader. The story was too hard to follow due to number of characters. I found it difficult to remember who everyone was.
Too many characters!

….and that may have been preferable. This story really lacks the build-up and climax that are so crucial to true-crime stories. The story was interesting, but the way it was told made me feel like the author was disinterested in his own subject.
This story is more realistic than others like it. The characters are fallible and the story doesn’t always follow a straight line. Kevin Pierce is a Master!
Great book. great book. great book. great book. great book. great book.great book. great book. awesome book. astounding. colossal
Book 3 does not disappoint. This is my favorite Akart series in some time (hey they are all good), this one has really grabbed me! Story line, character development and plot twists made this one a fast read. And of course Kevin Pierce nails the audio!
writer did no research and obviously never fired a gun in his life. On top of that all 8 books will cost you $100 and they are on average 5 hours each. Ridiculous.
The story, the narrator, the whole package. A must listen for anyone who is a fan of medical mystery/ history, true crime or just plain good story. Best listen in long time here on Audible. Can’t believe how it was all meant to be. .
I love the range of emotion that gets thrust upon me. I laugh, I cry, and I cheer these characters on! I love the hidden plugs for other book series by this author! He is one of my faves!
