loved this series. more people should listen to this and consider the reality of how closely it runs to current circumstances

It was ok. Not like edge of my seat thriller, but fine. I’ve liked some of his other books better.

Dan luck is either really good or really bad, no in between. I could of been friends with Dan and Carl in high school. The characters are normal and the story keeps a believable path , as society crashes down around Dan .

This was 2 books in 1. Look forward to book 3 which I’ve already downloaded. Edgy and intense and probably on point for where things are going. Character development is slow , on purpose, but you know them.

Loved the book. I found it by looking for books narrated by Kevin Pierce because he’s my favorite but I do love apocalypse books!

And the narrator? Somehow he’s able to make every character sound like they’re 70 years old. Story was super boring, characters were super bland and uninteresting. Only good thing was this was free with the subscription.

Liking this series so far. Love the character. Narration is very good voices are distinguishable between characters.

Excellent and well written. The story is believable and flows well with numerous re-encounters of characters along the way.

I grew up on the coastlines of NC and SC and many of the areas mentioned in this series I know very well. This series is exceptionally written and the the detail in some of the areas and battle scenes are unparalleled. You will not be disappointed in this read. Thanks Mr. McDermott.

can’t wait until he meets up with Jim again. at least that is what I think will happen. lol
