I really enjoy these hard sci-fi apocalyptic books but not this one. The author sounds knowledgeable about most of it. I did laugh my buttocks off when he stated marijuana was a gateway to meth. He mixed some metaphors about sheep walking off cliffs. To me this reads like the author is jamming his world..

I thoroughly enjoyed this series, “cover to cover!” I really loved the character Donnie.
I loved this series. Really well written and the narrators voice made the book come alive. you fall in love with the characters quickly and can’t stop listening to hear what happens next.
I had difficulty reading this book due to the fact that everything was scriptures and religion. I can read books with religion as I don’t care what other people believe but this one was just a bit much.
for marketing and profit reasons, I understand why they divided the books up however I don’t know that a full story line was accomplished in this segment.

This book is an interesting twist for the genre. Straddling the line between good guy and outlaw had me rooting for the ones the government would want to lock up for bootlegging. Characters are believable and the story is easy to follow.

If you’re a believer in Jesus the series is amazing. The Bible quotes are very appropriate for our possible future.
