but a pretty solid story. plus it’s read by one of the best, my only complaint is the reader doesn’t seem to have much change to his voice so it can be a bit hard to tell the people apart.

Marcus Battle and Conner McGuire 2 in the same. I didn’t think I would find a book to compete with The Traveler Series but the Mad Mick is there.
Stories 1-6 were amazing. Battle was such a good character, and Lou actually trumps him. Everything about her and her story was great. which is why I don’t know how they managed to take her whit, and turn it into belittlement. In a world where its kill or be killed were talking about women’s suffrage?..
What a great series! The story and characters are almost human and just seem so real. I was able to immerse myself fully and felt like I knew them. Lots of action and just something for everyone in this book. The narrator… always does an amazing job one of my favorites.

I wish there where more of this story. It’s Christian foundation was a refreshing change of pace! Would recommend!!! No cussing, no sex, and actual life choices that have to be made as a Christian. And a scripture at the beginning of each chapter was great!! Narration was excellent.
Fairly standard pre-shtf / shtf stuff, At times the prepper. JW Rawls long passages of detailed lists starts. Not nearly as good and Mad Mick series but it has potential
I wanted to enjoy this, but the first few hours is so excruciatingly tedious and boring that I gave up. Knowing the broad strokes of this story, it still sounds like something I’d like to read about. Just not by this person who can’t get to the point or present historical context in an engaging..
