I found it unbelievable that religious teaching can be so harmful to women. The religious teaching made these women so subservient that they were able to be raped and didn’t speak up. The Doctor deserved a stiffer sentence and not given “status” in the prison. Shameful.

Interesting book. Too $$ for the content 75% of book dedicated to character “Puck” was too much. Too predictable.

The narrator constantly switched from third person to first person, without warning or a change in tone, which was quite confusing and disrupting.

True Crim books are always interesting, this one in particular seemed to hit me different. there were times when I was close to tears while the author explained the feeling of the parents. That doesn’t happen to me in true crime books. It is worth a read.
